New Phone Numbers Throughout the District

As a part of the District's new telephone network, new phone numbers have been assigned that all start with a 434 exchange instead of the current 463 or 656 numbers.
The new numbers are operational and will be included in local phone books. People should begin using the new phone numbers. Present phone numbers will remain operational until July 1.
The new telephone system was installed as part of the Safe & Sound Capital Project. The upgrades give ESM one integrated network for data, video and phone communications. The network will provide the District with greater functionality, increased efficiency and a significant cost savings.
