ANIME CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Kowalski

When/Where: Wednesdays / Library

Description: This is a student lead club to promote anime through literature, media, costumes, and special events.

 

ART CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Ehrlich, Mr. Ryon, Mrs. Simone

Description: Art Club will allow students creative exploration while giving them sustained support of an instructor with the goal of producing art for themselves or the community.

 

CODING CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Kowalski

When/Where: Tuesdays / Library

Description: Empower students to explore the language of coding for game design, app creation, robotics and FUN!

 

DRAMA CLUB

Advisor: Ms. deBerjeois

EXTREME LEGO FUN CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Ehrlich, Mr. Ryon and Mrs. Simone

Description: The purpose of this club is to make friends, have fun, enhance creativity and imagination.

 

GAME CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Kowalski

When/Where: Tuesdays / Library

Description: Promote socializing over shared interest in board/card games. This will be a student run club.

 

LATIN DANCE CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Cramer-Walter and Mrs. Wasil-Espinoza

Description: Students will learn both modern and folkloric dances from Spanish speaking countries. This exposure will provide a window to the culture and language of these countries. The participating students will perform at the festival of nations / international fest in March.

 

MEDIA CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Kowalski, Mrs. Law, Mrs. Petranchuk and Mr. Pounds

When/Where: Wednesdays / Library

Description: Will empower students to be part of a media team for PG to work on news station, yearbook, general PR, press releases, and promotion of events at and for the PG community. Working with HS (Mike Ferris) to bridge the gap between middle and high school in this area.

 

MINDCRAFT

Advisor: Ms. Atkinson

When/Where: Tuesdays / Library

 

POKEMON CARD CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Western

Description: Get students of all grade levels involved in an activity together, to meet new people and make new friendships.

 

SKI CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Kowalski

When/Where: Wednesdays starting 1/11/17 / Toggenburg Mountain

Description: Students can participate in six weeks of skiing/snowboarding at Toggenburg Mountain. There is a cost associated with joining this club.  Club is limited to 50 students.  All abilities welcome! Information packets available at the Library starting 10/25/16.

 

TENNIS CLUB

Advisor: Mrs. Felicia

Description: To teach students the fundamentals of tennis and how it is a lifetime activity that they can participate in. To introduce students to a sport that they can participate in for the school starting in 9th grade and be part of a team while being physically active.

 

STRESSBUSTERS

Advisor: Ms. Chappelier

When/Where: Thursdays / Library

 

WALKING CLUB

Advisor: Ms. Atkinson

When/Where: Wednesdays / FACS Room

Description: Support students in maintaining physical activity while developing friendships.
