Festival of Nations Student Project Featuring Destiny Quest

As a way to show how Woodland Library promotes diversity and connections with other cultures, this video shows third grade students finding books about their special country demonstrating online catalog---Destiny Quest.

  Kalli Dakos is a Canadian children's poet and teacher. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario and graduated from Queen's University, earning BAH and BEd degrees.

Announcing Visiting Author 2013~ Joseph Bruchac 


Joseph Bruchac visited on Wednesday, March 20th.  Joseph is an Abenaki Native American and has written over 100 books.  His genres include legends, historical fiction and environmental themes.
