Facilities Use

The East Syracuse Minoa Central School District uses "ML Schedules" to process requests for the use of District facilities. Our buildings are valuable community assets. We are glad to accommodate civic and community groups for meetings and events whenever we can. 

All facility use requests must be completed online. To make an online facility use request:

First time users: Those using ML Schedules must create a user account. Be sure to complete all information fields and then click the submit button. If your registration was successful you will receive an e-mail confirmation. To ease the registration process, view the informational video or read the Quick Start Guide for details.

Returning Users with an Account: Once you create an account with ML Schedules you can make facility use requests. To better understand how to use the request form view the informational video or read the Quick Start Guide (go to page 10), which will explain the reservation  process.

Log in and request use of facilities 

submit a current Certificate of Insurance or have one on file with the District. 
 

For requests to use the Central High School Stadium only, please contact the Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Health at 315-434-3301. All others should follow the directions above.

1) Please review Board of Education Policy: #3280 Use of School Facilities, Materials and Equipment and the associated Administrative Regulation #3280R  as well as all the related files at the bottom of this page prior to making requests through the on-line system.

2) All applications should be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the first date of use.

3) Final approval will be given and cost estimates provided after all required documentation is received. No use of facilities will be granted until final approval is issued.

4) Please be advised that any approved facilities use by an outside agency or organization may be canceled due to the needs of the school district.

5) If any equipment is damaged or broken, it is the responsibility of the lessee to have it repaired or replaced at full value.

6) A final invoice will be sent after each event which may vary from the estimate, based on actual hours used.

7) All participants must abide by the East Syracuse Minoa Central School District Code of Conduct.

8) The East Syracuse Minoa School District will follow the Onondaga County Health Department and the NYSPHSAA’s recommendation of 2 spectators per student-athlete at all sporting events held at our facilities. All spectators will be required to remain masked the entire time and maintain social distancing (6 feet) at all times from non family members

9) Please be aware that pets are not allowed on school grounds and/or athletic fields.

10) Smoking or the use of tobacco products on school grounds is against the law and strictly prohibited.

Rates, Fees & Class Schedule

Class 1: District Related Groups (staff members-job related events, athletic teams, band, winter guards (music department) and PTO Events (book fair, learning fair etc.)

* ESM teams charging for camps (not going thru the Town of Manlius) will be charged the range fee (one-time fee). ESM Leagues will be charged a range fee up to $300 (one time fee)

Class 2: Government Entity - local, State or Federal agency or group conducting official business (Section 3, NYSPHSAA, Officials, Union etc.)

Class 3: Non-Profit Group (Community, youth & church groups, adult BB League, HSA (PTO), and other scholastic organizations and sponsored groups, eg. Woodland Dance Group, etc.)
*Need a Certificate of Insurance (Directions to upload)

Class 4: Private Groups (Private parties, community, business or profit making organizations, Tournaments, Dance Recitals etc.
*Need a Certificate of Insurance (Directions to upload)

Rental Fees: (For non-school activities)

Class 2, 3 & 4: For all events held at times when no custodian is on duty, a fee of $67 per hour will be assessed. The fee will include custodial coverage beginning one half hour prior the scheduled start time (when the outside organization enters the building) until one half hour after the event concludes (i.e., organizers and participants have vacated the premises).

Class 3 & 4 only
0-25 Attendees: $75
25-50: Attendees: $150
50-75: Attendees: $225
75-100: Attendees: $300
Over 100: $300 Maximum

Class 3 & 4 Only: For areas that require custodial coverage (i.e., auditorium, cafeteria, classroom, gymnasium or stadium) an additional $67 per hour fee for custodial services. The fee will include custodial coverage beginning one half hour prior the scheduled start time (when the outside organization enters the premises) until one half hour after the event concludes (i.e., organizers and participants have vacated the premises).

Class 4 Additional Fees

Auditorium: $100 up to 4 hours - $25 per additional hour after 4 hours
Cafeteria/Kitchen: $50 up to 4 hours - $10 per additional hour after 4 hours
Classrooms: $50 up to 4 hours - $10 per additional hour after 4 hours
Fields: $50 Per Day
*   Field Striping (Initial): $150/Per Field
** Field Striping (Weekly): $100/Per Field
HS Stadium/Turf: $200 up to 4 hours - $50 per additional hour after 4 hours
* Lights at the Stadium: $50 per evening
Gymnasiums: $100 up to 4 hours - $25 per additional hour after 4 hours
