Pre-k: Full & Half Day Registration Open
What You Need to Know About Pre-k Registration
ESM is proud to offer free half-day and full-day pre-kindergarten programs for 4-year-old children residing in the district.
To be eligible for pre-k in the 2024-25 school year, children must:
- Be 4 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2024;
- Be an ESM school district resident; and
- Have all required immunizations
Full Day Pre-k: We have a limited number of openings in our full-day program. If the number of family pre-k applications exceeds the number of openings, the district will conduct a lottery drawing where children will be selected at random. Registration must be completed by Friday, April 5 to be part of the full-day lottery. Any students not selected will automatically be enrolled in the half-day program.
Half-Day Pre-k: ESM continues to offer a half-day pre-k in the morning and afternoon to any families who prefer that option. Transportation routes determine if your child will attend in the morning or afternoon based on bus routes.
