ESM Students Qualify for DECA International Competition

ESM DECA Students delivered an outstanding performance at the DECA State Career Conference in Rochester, with three teams qualifying for the International Career Development Conference and earning 19 top 10 awards.

The three teams that placed in the top four have qualified for the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Orlando, FL. We are incredibly proud of their achievements, as well as the dedication and accomplishments of all the students who participated in the DECA State Career Conference.

During the SCC opening ceremonies, Aaron Reynolds was honored with an award for New York DECA Honor Society. ESM DECA was also recognized for earning the Thrive Level Chapter Campaign and received a pennant, flag, and plaque and are eligible to register up to two DECA members to participate in the THRIVE Academy at this year’s International Career Development Conference in Orlando, FL.  ESM was one of only twelve schools in New York to receive this prestigious recognition. Sophie Jones and Emma Wilson-Hefti demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to achieve this honor.
